Krypteria – a band which consists of Ji-In Cho (Vocals / Piano), Christoph Siemons (Guitar), Frank Stumvoll (Bass) and “S.C.“ Kuschnerus (Drums).

You cannot pigeon-hole Krypteria's music as they almost created a new music genre. Krypterian music you could call it. It's a mixture of (Symphonic) Metal, Gothic, Classic, Rock, Pop, Plainchant and Latin text (-passages) which enchants the listeners in a mystic way. They play everything from ballads to real stunners.

The remarkable in each song is, that singer Ji-In Cho knows how to use her expressive and variable voice.

Regardless whether emotional, powerful or aggressive – from the innocent angel to the mighty Valkyrie she creates (not just throughout her voice) each character you can imagine.

Even though the big breakthrough in Germany hasn't come until now, they already got great success from Latin America to East Asia. With their debut album “In Medias Res” they were 2006 in the 1st  place of the Korean Charts.

But also in Germany the fan base becomes bigger.

On 22nd April 2011 their latest album “All Beauty Must Die” came out. This one reached place 24 of the Media Control Charts and place 10 of the Saturn & MediaMarkt Album-Charts.

With the BVB-Anthem “Unser Stolz Borussia”, which they recorded together with the BVB-Jahrhundertchor, they got the 6th place of the Single Charts, but also a Golden CD in June 2011 for the best placed Club-Anthem ever.

You just have to like those four people. It's clearly remarkable, that they love what they do. They are always in a good mood and also like sometimes to kid around.

The closeness to their fans is really important to them. They personally take care of their fan pages on Facebook, my Space, etc... and so they not only make sure the fans are informed at first hand but also get direct contact to the band. Even after their gigs they give their fans the chance to talk to them.

Krypteria is just a touchable band!
